Burton frequently has environmental health as a priority; Burton’s annual Clean Up Days is one representation of this.
This year’s project is happening June 12 & 13, 2021. Take part in your community by cleaning an area of your local park or by picking up trash during your evening stroll.
From sea level to mountain summits, Clean Up Days has occurred every spring since 2014 and is devoted to picking up every piece of litter in sight. This project’s goals are to:
- Remove harmful substances from various ecosystems and outdoor playgrounds
- Give participants an opportunity to move their bodies outdoors
- Provide members with a sense of community and a sense of purpose
Use #BurtonCleanUpDays on your social media posts to encourage others to follow your lead! Burton will plant a tree for every story or post sharing contributions using their hashtag. Know that your contributions are not only appreciated by Burton, but also by your local community members and future generations.
